My days work best when they have a little movement, a little beauty, and one unplanned pocket of time. I’m happiest when a sensible plan leaves room for a better impulse. I’m good at slowing a moment down without making it feel heavy. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. A thoughtful detail can change the entire tone of an evening. A little planning creates the right frame; the atmosphere still needs room to breathe. I can be a little particular about coffee, lighting, and comfortable chairs.
