Good manners, clear communication, and a sense of humour matter to me more than a polished first impression. I like the moment an ordinary evening develops an entirely different idea. I like new perspectives, flexible plans, and the freedom to change direction. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. For me, the best meeting is warm, unforced, and memorable for the right reasons. People often relax around me because I do not hurry to fill every silence. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. A good beginning gives me freedom rather than rules. The atmosphere should support the people in it. That sort of ease is hard to fake. A little character goes a long way with me. I notice when a place feels personally chosen.
