A quiet table, an exchanged smile, and a conversation that outlasts the first drink is my kind of beginning. I do have a habit of choosing the slower route when there is no reason to hurry. I’m curious about ideas, but I like them best when they connect back to real life. I’m good at slowing a moment down without making it feel heavy. I like good company, sensible plans, and the freedom to laugh when details change. A plan is useful, but I’m not attached to it once a better idea appears. I’m not sure a paragraph can say much more; a good conversation usually does the job better. I appreciate confidence that knows how to soften and curiosity that does not feel like an interrogation.
