I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. A loose plan makes me comfortable. a better idea is always welcome. I enjoy a considered look and a relaxed manner, especially when neither one does all the talking. I’m curious about ideas, but I like them best when they connect back to real life. I notice when someone needs a gentler pace, a better question, or a little more time. I’m organised enough to create ease and spontaneous enough to follow a better offer. I feel most comfortable when the energy is warm, the conversation is mutual, and nobody is rushing. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected. That sort of ease is hard to fake. I notice when a place feels personally chosen.
