If we meet, I hope it feels less like an appointment and more like the beginning of a good story. I’m comfortable with my own company, so sharing an evening feels like a choice. I prefer clear intentions and the relief of not having to decode every sentence. I notice cut, colour, texture, and the ease that keeps style from becoming display. I can be a little particular about coffee, lighting, and comfortable chairs. I enjoy a little anticipation and a plan with shape, without making it look rehearsed. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. That is probably enough of an introduction. The rest is better discovered in person. I notice when a place feels personally chosen. The atmosphere should support the people in it.
