My small weakness is a beautifully set table, even when the plan was meant to be completely casual. I like short escapes, long walks, and finding something worth remembering before Monday. I like an idea in mind and enough flexibility to follow whatever looks worth stopping for. I prefer quiet confidence to a polished performance. I prefer chemistry that is felt rather than announced. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. The rest is simple: good energy, mutual respect, and a reason to stay for one more conversation. The atmosphere should support the people in it. That sort of ease is hard to fake. I like leaving some room around the plan. A little character goes a long way with me.
