About Yana

I like the kind of trip where the best part is often the unplanned hour between the obvious places. I like beautiful details, provided the people remain more interesting than the setting. I notice style, but I’m more interested in the ease and confidence that make it personal. An evening feels best when there is warmth around the table and enough variety to keep it moving. I’m happiest when there is a plan for the beginning and freedom to ignore it later. I’m quite good at looking composed while quietly deciding what we should order. A good plan gives the evening momentum; the people decide where it goes next. I’m not sure a paragraph can say much more; a good conversation usually does the job better. A little character goes a long way with me.
