About Darya

The right atmosphere matters to me, usually before either person has said very much at all. I know what suits me, and I’m comfortable saying so without turning it into a speech. I’m happiest when an evening feels clean, simple, and personal. I still believe atmosphere matters, especially when it feels personal rather than staged. The less unnecessary choreography, the better; I like things to feel unforced. I feel most comfortable when the energy is warm, the conversation is mutual, and nobody is rushing. I tend to notice the best corner of a room before I notice where everyone else has sat down.
