I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. I notice tone. proximity. and the small shift when a conversation becomes more personal. I notice colour, texture, and the way someone carries an idea as much as an outfit. I enjoy a considered look and a relaxed manner, especially when neither one does all the talking. I like having something to work towards. while remembering that pleasure belongs in a good life too.
