I like the kind of trip where the best part is often the unplanned hour between the obvious places. I like a little life around me and conversations that keep moving naturally. I like directness with warmth. honesty is easier to enjoy that way. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. A quieter setting suits me: a considered meal, a walk, and time to notice what is beneath the obvious. I feel most comfortable when the energy is warm, the conversation is mutual, and nobody is rushing. I prefer a little breathing room in the schedule. rushing hides the interesting parts. Ultimately, I’m looking for ease, interest, and the feeling that the evening was time well spent.
