The right atmosphere matters to me, usually before either person has said very much at all. I’m drawn to art. music. unusual ideas. and people with a point of view. I pay attention to presentation without making it a performance; comfort and character matter more than perfection. I’m drawn to plans with a point of view, but curiosity can always send us elsewhere. I like questions that open a door rather than close a subject. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue.
