I notice the mood first: soft light, a good scent, and a room that makes talking feel easy. I give playlists more responsibility than they probably deserve. I’ve learned to value calm confidence, good timing, and people who mean what they say. I enjoy being out in the world, although the person beside me still matters most. I like evenings that leave room for side stories, teasing, and friendly mischief. I like a little structure, mostly so there is something to abandon for a better idea. For me, the best meeting is warm, unforced, and memorable for the right reasons. I appreciate confidence that knows how to soften and curiosity that does not feel like an interrogation. A calm beginning is always welcome.
