I value people who are attentive without being overbearing and confident without needing to prove it. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. There is something lovely about an evening with music, conversation, and no pressure to keep moving. I’m quieter at first, but I’m rarely absent from a conversation. I enjoy my own rhythm and I’m drawn to people who have one of their own. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. I’m happy when the details are settled and the evening can be enjoyed properly. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected.
