Give me an unhurried table, a cold drink, and someone who knows how to enjoy the moment. I can make a simple decision sound like a discussion, mostly because I enjoy the discussion. I have a clear sense of what I enjoy, with plenty of room for a good surprise. I enjoy my own rhythm and I’m drawn to people who have one of their own. I like places with texture; perfection is less interesting than a little character. I’m drawn to plans with a point of view, but curiosity can always send us elsewhere.
