Give me a good table, an interesting person, and enough time for the evening to develop without instructions. I appreciate dry observations, good timing, and people who can laugh at themselves. I like energy, movement, and the satisfying calm that follows a day well used. I’m more interested in depth than volume, whether we are talking over dinner or walking somewhere quiet. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. I appreciate knowing the general shape of a meeting while leaving quiet around it. I feel most comfortable when the energy is warm, the conversation is mutual, and nobody is rushing. I’m drawn to encounters that feel considered without becoming constructed, with enough grace for something genuine to appear. The atmosphere should support the people in it.
