The right atmosphere matters to me, usually before either person has said very much at all. I appreciate ease, consistency, and the freedom not to turn every moment into a test. I bring a soft energy, with enough independence to keep it from feeling careful. A change of scenery helps me reset, even when the destination is only a different neighbourhood. Spontaneity is best with a comfortable beginning and a little curiosity behind it.
