Friends tend to describe me as calm at first and unexpectedly playful once I feel comfortable. I prefer quiet confidence to a polished performance. I notice style, but I’m more interested in the ease and confidence that make it personal. I like places with texture. perfection is less interesting than a little character. I listen carefully, think before I speak, and still leave room for a good impulse. I tend to notice the best corner of a room before I notice where everyone else has sat down. I’m drawn to plans with a point of view, but curiosity can always send us elsewhere. I’m drawn to encounters that feel considered without becoming constructed, with enough grace for something genuine to appear. I notice when a place feels personally chosen. Good timing usually matters more than decoration.
