I prefer thoughtful plans, good taste, and a little space for the unexpected. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. I’m happiest when a sensible plan leaves room for a better impulse. I notice when someone needs a gentler pace, a better question, or a little more time. I like having something to work towards, while remembering that pleasure belongs in a good life too.
