About Mary

What makes an evening work for me? Curiosity, a little humour, and enough space for the conversation to wander. I listen properly and like people to feel at ease around me. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. A quieter setting suits me: a considered meal, a walk, and time to notice what is beneath the obvious. I still believe atmosphere matters. especially when it feels personal rather than staged. I’m not above changing my mind when someone brings a genuinely better idea.
