If we meet, bring your real conversation. I’m much more interested in that than a perfect performance. A quieter setting suits me: a considered meal, a walk, and time to notice what is beneath the obvious. I prefer kindness with a little strength behind it. I’m interested in how people think and what sits behind their usual answers. I prefer a little breathing room in the schedule. rushing hides the interesting parts. A little light, music, and texture can change the whole feeling of a room. I feel most comfortable when the energy is warm, the conversation is mutual, and nobody is rushing. Ultimately, I’m looking for ease, interest, and the feeling that the evening was time well spent. I notice when someone listens.
