I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. I notice style. but I’m more interested in the ease and confidence that make it personal. Romance, to me, is attention and timing rather than a performance. I like a little elegance, but I trust natural warmth more than a perfect impression. I’m drawn to small gestures and attention that does not need an audience. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. Plans are lovely when they communicate care, not when they leave no room for surprise.
