I’ve noticed that I connect best with people who do not need to fill every pause. I notice when someone needs a gentler pace, a better question, or a little more time. I’ve learned to value calm confidence, good timing, and people who mean what they say. I notice style, but I’m more interested in the ease and confidence that make it personal. I like a well-chosen table, a gallery, or a new corner of town with more to discover. I like meetings that feel attentive without becoming intense, with space for both people to settle in.
