There is something about a slow evening and an unforced conversation that brings out the best in me. Romance, to me, is attention and timing rather than a performance. I enjoy a thoughtful subject, especially when it still leaves room for humour. I prefer chemistry that is felt rather than announced. Plans are lovely when they communicate care, not when they leave no room for surprise. I like things that feel current, relaxed, and easy to live with. I appreciate confidence that knows how to soften and curiosity that does not feel like an interrogation. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected.
