I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. I’m quieter at first. but I’m rarely absent from a conversation. The best experiences have a little planning behind them and very little pressure attached. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. The rest is simple: good energy. mutual respect. and a reason to stay for one more conversation. I’m comfortable with my own company, so sharing an evening feels like a choice. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome.
