A change of scenery is lovely, but the person beside you is what gives it meaning. I’m happiest when an evening feels clean, simple, and personal. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. I prefer a simple plan, clearly made, with empty space around it. I tend to remember the small details people mention and return to them when the timing feels right. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. I’m drawn to encounters that feel considered without becoming constructed, with enough grace for something genuine to appear. I’m quite good at looking composed while quietly deciding what we should order.
