About Kris

A change of scenery is lovely, but the person beside you is what gives it meaning. I prefer kindness with a little strength behind it. I’m interested in how people think and what sits behind their usual answers. I’m not above changing my mind when someone brings a genuinely better idea. Good food, a well-set table, and an interesting exchange are simple pleasures I take seriously. I’m happy to organise the details and let the human part take over. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. I like the kind of evening that leaves no grand conclusion, only the sense that something worth keeping has begun. A little humour helps. I notice when someone listens.
