What makes an evening work for me? Curiosity, a little humour, and enough space for the conversation to wander. I enjoy a touch of ceremony, the right light, and the confidence to make an evening feel special. I’m happiest when an evening feels clean, simple, and personal. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. I’m not sure a paragraph can say much more; a good conversation usually does the job better. I’m attentive without making a ceremony of it. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. The less unnecessary choreography, the better; I like things to feel unforced. A little humour helps.
