I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. I’m gentle in the way I speak and attentive to the atmosphere between people. For me, attraction is mostly about presence, timing, and what does not need to be announced. I enjoy a considered look and a relaxed manner, especially when neither one does all the talking. I enjoy the comfort of a familiar place, a good meal, and company that makes staying in feel special. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. I prefer plans that feel comfortable and considered, without turning into a production. That feels right.
