I’ve noticed that I connect best with people who do not need to fill every pause. I bring a gentle energy, though I’m not as delicate as I may seem at first. A change of scenery helps me reset, even when the destination is only a different neighbourhood. I prefer chemistry that is felt rather than announced. I like an idea in mind and enough flexibility to follow whatever looks worth stopping for. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself.
