I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. I like the moment an ordinary evening develops an entirely different idea. I bring a soft energy, with enough independence to keep it from feeling careful. The best stories are rarely the most polished; I like the details that make them lived in. The best plans leave space for a detail nobody could have scheduled.
