I prefer thoughtful plans, good taste, and a little space for the unexpected. I’m more interested in depth than volume, whether we are talking over dinner or walking somewhere quiet. I pay attention to presentation without making it a performance; comfort and character matter more than perfection. A little planning helps me relax; after that, I prefer the evening to move naturally. I like people with direction and a sense of proportion. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. What matters most is the atmosphere we create together: attentive, unhurried, and quietly alive.
