I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. I like the moment an ordinary evening develops an entirely different idea. I enjoy the comfort of a familiar place, a good meal, and company that makes staying in feel special. I like people with direction and a sense of proportion. I prefer plans that feel comfortable and considered, without turning into a production. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. I’m usually calm, although I have opinions about badly timed interruptions. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected.
