About Polina

A change of scenery is lovely, but the person beside you is what gives it meaning. I still get excited by a new place, a funny idea, or a plan that changes at the right moment. I like a well-chosen table, a gallery, or a new corner of town with more to discover. I notice when someone needs a gentler pace, a better question, or a little more time. I know enough to feel comfortable and not so much that the evening has nowhere left to go. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. I sometimes overthink a small choice and then make an impulsive one five minutes later.
